Weekend mornings get busy with visitors, and weekdays are calmer, which is when I like to walk it. Parking on 12th is metered, so living within walking distance changes how you use the street. You stop planning trips and start just going. That is what I mean when I call 12 South a walkable Nashville neighborhood. Shops change over time, so I always tell people to check hours before they go.
